Welcome!

Welcome to the website for the Anderida Gorsedd. We are a Druid group, facilitated by Damh the Bard and Cerri Lee, that have been holding regular open rituals at the Long Man of Wilmington since the Spring Equinox of 2000.

In September 2003 we also started holding magical camps, details of which you’ll find on this site. Do feel free to have a browse around, and hopefully we will meet one day, at the Long Man or one of our camps.

A Gorsedd is an open ritual gathering. All are invited, no matter what tradition, to gather together at the Long Man of Wilmington to celebrate the turning of the season with ceremony and open Eisteddfod (Bardic performances). So bring flowers of the season, story, song and musical instruments. All the family are welcome. All that we ask is that you come with an open mind, and an open heart. Afterwards, we retire to continue the celebrations at the excellent Giants Rest pub.

We now have a blog where you will find announcements about the forthcoming events, so if you would like to subscribe to the blog, please click on the link above.

Photography: An open ritual gathering can be a wonderfully colourful experience. The Gorsedd is an open public celebration, and as such there may be members of the public taking photographs of the gathering – it’s a public place and this cannot be prevented. But for those who are part of the ritual circle, we ask that you be in the moment, and refrain from taking photos after the circle is cast, and the ritual begins.
