** Booking is now closed for Anderidafest 2010 **
Come and join with the Anderida Gorsedd for a transformational weekend camp deep in the heart of Sussex.
Events include:
Friday night Eisteddfod with Damh the Bard, Kate Fletcher and Corwen ap Broch, Paul Mitchell, Bardacious T and many more. After, fireside Eisteddfod. Saturday morning gathering and meditation/Dance of Life.
During the day we will be fully exploring the theme of the Goddess and the Green Man. Our guest speakers are Barry Patterson who will be running an in depth workshop on the Green Man with poetry, storytelling and academic research. In the afternoon we will journey to explore aspects of the Goddess.
We will also be entertained by the wonderful Mythago Morris who will be performing the Story of Herne the Hunter dance.
The wonderful Pentacle Drummers will be performing.
Saturday night will culminate with the Goddess and the Green Man ritual - not to be missed!
Important information for day ticket holders:
Your tickets are for Saturday only and run from 10am until 11pm. You must be off the field by 11.30pm as the farmer will be locking the gate at midnight and you won’t be able to leave after that.
Facilities:
On site cafe serving food and the best chai you’ll taste!
Stall/market trading area.
Toilets and a stand pipe for drinking water.
If you are camping you will need to bring your own camping equipment.
Whilst every precaution will be taken to ensure safety, we cannot be responsible for individuals or their children. Particular care and vigilance must be taken around the river, and during any of the events, which are undertaken at your own risk. As this is a magical journey, we ask that you DO NOT BRING LARGE AMOUNTS OF ALCOHOL to the camp – get drunk on the atmosphere of the camp, not on booze. This is sacred time, this is sacred space.
Payment will only be accepted with this completed form if paying by cheque (please print out this page), or via this online payment page, and details and directions to the location will be sent out with the tickets for the camp.
